How to Access

By Train

  • From Kyoto

    Take the Kintetsu Line from Kyoto Station to Tambabashi Station, and transfer to the Keihan Line bound for Yodoyabashi. Get off at Iwashimizu-hachimangu Station.

  • From Nara

    Take the Kintetsu Line to Tambabashi Station, and transfer to the Keihan Line bound for Yodoyabashi. Get off at Iwashimizu-hachimangu Station.

  • From Osaka/Hirakata

    Take the Keihan Line bound for Demachiyanagi. Get off at Iwashimizu-hachimangu Station.
    *From Osaka Station, take the JR Line to Kyobashi Station, and transfer to the Keihan Line bound for Demachiyanagi. Get off at Iwashimizu-hachimangu Station.

By Car

"Exit the Meishin Expressway at Oyamazaki IC. -----Take National Highway 171 toward Kyoto.-----Turn right at the first traffic light onto National Highway 478.-----Cross the Katsura River, and turn right at the first traffic light.-----Cross the Uji and Kizu rivers, and turn left at the Miyukibashi-minamizume Intersection. -----Turn left at the first traffic light, and the downtown area is ahead.

  • From Kyoto/Nara

    "Exit the Meishin Expressway at Kyoto-minami IC. -----Take National Highway 1 toward Osaka.-----Cross the Kizu River Bridge, and turn right at the first traffic light. The downtown area is straight ahead.-----Take the Keiji Bypass to the Daini-Keihan Road, and exit at Yawata-higashi IC toward National Highway 1.-----Pass National Highway 1, and the road leads into the downtown area.

  • From Osaka/Hirakata

    Take National Highway 1 toward Kyoto. -----Pass over Horagatake Pass into Kyoto Prefecture, and turn left at the Yawata-ichinotsubo Intersection. The downtown area is ahead.-----Take the Kyoto-Moriguchi Road toward Kyoto, and drive straight through the Kizugawa-miyukibashi-minamizume Intersection, which will lead you to the downtown area.

Yawata City Parking Lot Information

  • Parking is available every day, 24 hours a day.
    *Parking will be restricted during the Yawata Cherry Blossom Festival.
    (for 2019, entrance to parking lots was restricted from 8:00 to 18:00 during the period of March 30 to April 7.)
